At 2:45 PM I got an email from MidWest that large pistol primers had arrived!

    Yaaaaa.

At 4:45 I went to the site and they are back ordered again already, with an expected arrival date of the end of September ....

I am not going to say I told everyone that I know who shoots that this would happen BUT I purchased 100,000 primers of various sizes last October. The last time this happened was about 1991 or so. I used up those primers last year.

Oh, I bought brass, bullets and primers too. WOW! have these items gone up in price since last year..... Now all we have to do is look forward to "free health care." The key word is FREE ---- Right! Watch your taxes...

MidwayUSA had WLPs in stock for about half an hour today. Managed to snag 5k. I got there about 2 minutes after the email was sent.

I got mine! (I hope... waiting for the shipping notification.) Me and a buddy split a HazMat.

I am down to about 300 SPP.

My bullet search has so far been fruitless. :(

I was at the gun show in San Antonio saturday. There were [lenty of primers available. I picked up some CCI small rifle primers but I had to pay $50/1000 for them.

Thank you very much! Primers AND powder. Now I've got a little to keep me going for a while (just 5K LP primers and 4lbs of powder, so if they are "wiped out" it ain't my fault!)

Shung, I think I paid about $17.50 (USD) per thousand. That is dealers cost. Right now I believe they are going for about $25.00 dealers cost.

In a year I will shoot about 10,000 small and large pistol. and another 10,00 small and large rifle.
