I could see Ruger Buying Mossberg...

Sigh, this thread reminds me of those on lubes with more smoke than light.

Craig C, hope you enjoyed the NRA convention, I only had about 3 hrs to roam the floor on Friday because I went the National Firearms Law Seminar morning session . Tried to get out of downtown before Trump left the Convention Center--now that was a line. Got stuck in it anyway.

Ruger didn't "innovate" the integrally suppressed 10/22. Other companies have offered the same thing for years. Ruger is the first major firearms company to do so, but that doesn't qualify as innovation in my book.

Ruger sees the handwriting on the wall and wants a piece of the pie. I'd guess they're hoping the HPA passes and Walmart places an order for 5k integrally suppressed 10/22 rifles a month.

Give it up Craig.

You're dealing with an adolescent with a keyboard and an internet connection.

He probably isn't old enough to own a firearm.
I think you nailed it.

I surely did! We saw Don Jr. in passing but couldn't get tickets to see his papa speak. I was reminded of why I try to avoid Atlanta at all costs but I did manage to get in and out during "light" traffic hours. Came in about 3pm Thursday and left Sunday around 10am.

And I repeat, I never said they did. They do, however, have a different take on the concept that allows for more internal volume without increasing length or having an absurdly large diameter. It is a very well thought-out and INNOVATIVE design. You may have some issue with Ruger but to claim that they do not innovate is to do nothing but proclaim your own ignorance.

I know genius, I looked at an integrally suppressed AAC model a year ago. I'd be an idiot if I thought this was a new concept.
