Well, I took delivery today of a Mini-14. SN sequence is 183, stainless ranch rifle.
Stock is somewhat scarred but I am unconcerned with that as I have a spare wood stock. This one will stay on while it rides around with me. The spare stock will get the treatment from my wood-working father in law.
I got it for $350.00
Now..here is the question...who makes a good replacement rear sight for this thing? Any experiences with sights that are crud? I would actually prefer an AR style sight with twin apertures if possible. It won't see a scope, so I prefer to go with a good set. Also if the front blade needs to be replaced for the rear sight to work, so much the better.
