I have NO PROBLEM pocket-carrying my Glock 26

Maybe it's easier for me to pocket carry a Glock 26 because I'm kinda lumpy and overweight at the moment. Either way, it WERKS FER ME!!!

Been pocket carrying the G26 for 8 years now. Buy pants with big pockets and use a good gun belt to keep the weight managed. Cargo pockets help mask the outline even better. Dress slacks gets dicey because they usually have smaller pockets and are cut to fit tighter.

Some folks choose to pocket carry lesser guns because they refuse to dress around the gun. Bad idea IMO.

I have a Glock 26 and 33. No way am I carrying those fat bricks in my pockets.

The Ruger LC9 is pretty good if the pockets are deep enough.

ALL Glocks are WAY too bulky for me and my pockets. Even the Shield doesn't make the cut. A Kahr CM9, maybe, a Ruger LCP for sure (but kinda anemic).

i know a guy whom can pocket carry a G26....but he has a large gut so his waist line is quite a bit bigger than those of the same hiegth and his gut dwarfs his legs in girth so his front pockets do not rest on his thighs making the gun buldge out. but when he sits down it still looks like a cereal box in his pocket.

I never could pocket carry my G26.
It's just too fat for my pants pocket.

And you do look like you have female hips in that picture.

Jerry: You can see from the picture, I'm flabby, but I don't have a giant gut that draws the eye from the pockets.

Female hips? Oh well, I'll take it, a LOT LOT LOT more comfortable than IWB carry. :D

And I know everybody here's sees the bulge and screams "GUN!" but in almost a year of carrying I've never been made. Not once.

but in almost a year of carrying I've never been made. Not once.
Actually, you don't know if your were made or not.

I've spotted guys carrying before, but I didn't say anything because there's no reason to say anything.
And those guys probably think they have never been made too.

StrikeFire83, the main thing is youre ok with it and in compliance with the law......

like others have said, youve probably been made before but luckily those whove made you werent of ill intent.

I pocket carry the G26 with certain pants. Not all jeans will allow you to get a hand on and draw a gun. A good belt and pocket holster makes it very doable. I'd be more likely to be made when carrying IWB than pocket carrying.

It's a little clunky but it's very doable.

Well, I'm sure people have noticed the bulge, if they were looking. And maybe fellow concealed carriers who know how to look for such things believe there's a good probability that there is a gun in my right front pocket. But you're right, JERRY, I am in compliance with Texas law, specifically GC §411.171, which says that “Concealed handgun” means

"a handgun, the presence of which is not openly discernible to the ordinary observation of a reasonable person."

Look at the picture. All you see is a rectangle. When I wear a longer cut shirt, you can't even see the top of my pocket and the "bulge" is must less visible. Show me where in that picture you can see the outline of a handgun. Where is the grip, where is the trigger guard, where is the barrel? Given that there are bulges in both pockets, if I hadn't told you that I'm right handed and carrying a Glock 26, would you even been able to pick the carry pocket?

The only reason I started this thread is because I'm always hearing people say that "YOU CAN'T POCKET CARRY A G26" and that's clearly horsepucky.

Ever see an old man that wears his over stuffed wallet in there front pocket?? NO its his glock 26 . I wear losser fit capenter jeans, columbia outdoor pants and bibs mainly and yep a glock 26 or 27 will go in the pocket but don't think it hidden well or quick to clear as a smaller 9mm. It is a little thick brick. But if your happy ?? You just have not found the right holster and postion for iwb. I sold my baby glock. Still carry a 9mm in a pocket too.

I once had a Glock 26, and carried that way occasionally. I carried a Walther P99c this way a few years ago too.. Same size...

Now, I have a 9mm shield. I have pocket carried that thing since May. I love hearing all the people that claim the shield is too large for pocket carry. Geeze...

^ Yup, I've also heard people say that even the KAHR PM9 is too big for pocket carry. :banghead:

Some of these people need to give up their skinny jeans, boot-cut wranglers, emo-pants, etc. Adding slightly relaxed-fit jeans/khakis into your wardrobe isn't gonna kill ya, and it makes concealing handguns (in the pocket and elsewhere) that much easier.

I don't even think my pocket openings on any of my pants are big enough to shove a G26 in them. Even if I could, I wouldn't be able to get a holster around the gun and into the pocket, so I'd be carrying without a round in the chamber, something I really don't like doing.

Then again, I IWB carry a 4" S&W Model 28 Highway Patrolman, so I guess that makes me wierd too :p .

Only thing I pocket carry is my P32. I did carry my G26 yesterday, but it was OWB in a Uncle Mike's Kydex, covered by my shirt. It's my normal carry style and most comfortable for me.

I can pocket carry my LCP if I'm wearing baggy cargo shorts or cargo pants. As for my jeans (36x32's) even the lcp without the pocket holster is way to large.

I carry mostly OWB with an untucked shirt of some type these days. Cellphone in a Otter box on my left side and the lcp in a fobus holster on my left hip. I took a look at a sig p938 nightmare yesterday, no there's a 9mm pocket pistol I'd love to have. I think with the right belt slide holster this will be the perfect cocked n locked 9mm.

JERRY:
Have you discovered "Falia photography" (or such) on YouTube? She is really into her handguns and rifle. I've seen half of her videos and she is really into guns.

If you want to see a nice young lady with a holster, Inside her thigh, under a skirt, you might check her channel.

:scrutiny: Uuh, what's that in your pocket?....Ooh, you're just happy to see me! :D

Looks like your pockets are stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey!

:what:.... LMAO
