Glad you have seen the light. The 19 is my all around favorite gun. Im wanting the gen4 to go with my gen3.

Don't bump that front sight on anything, it'll probably pop right off.

True sort of, but Glock front sights are like socks: generally cheap and easy to change.

Today I got my first glock its a G19. From one range session I can already tell that I'm in love with it.. I'm no long time fanboy, my first pistol was a XD9 and it was great. Just something about the feel of this glock and the sights that I'm really diggin!

Also, found this really good instructional video on how to disassemble it as I like to see things done in person. A little trickier at first compared to the XD, but do it a couple of times and it feels natural

The Glock is the one gun I've seen that really is a love it or hate it gun. I've never heard anyone say "'eh it's ok it's not my first choice but it's not at the bottom either". You either swear by it or swear at it. Personally I do the latter.

I am one of many that didn't like Glocks, at first. The grip felt too big and slippery, and there didn't seem to be ay comfortable place to rest my thumb. But the holes on target told me that was a bunch of BS.

Still, it wasn't until I'd put 500-1000 shots downrange with my first G19 that I really started to hit my stride with this gun. I think it's ideal in 9mm. Everything about the Glock platform makes it perfect for a low recoil round. Low bore axis, steep grip, and predictable trigger allow it to really gobble up the ammo. It's like an Olympic rapidfire pistol in a combat caliber.

I have a G19. I've shot it a lot and like it a lot. I'm about as or more accurate with it as with any of my other 9mms (which isn't saying much). However, the grip still feels funky to me.
