Well, I wandered into a local shop yesterday to purchase a S&W 36LS ( Yes, a LadySmith and yes, for myself) when I spotted something under the glass that wasnt there last time I looked. How about a nice little Colt Pocket Nine? As you already know, I grabbed it in a heartbeat, whipped out the cash and walked out with it. Now the best part, I only paid $350 for it. It included the instructions, the original box, the lock and even the orange chamber insert. Ya, I am happy. I have already put over 75 rounds through it without any troubles. I am amazed by how accurate this little thing is, even with it's heavy DAO trigger, I can still keep all 7 rounds in a 8" circle at 25 yards. Well, it looks like my little old, trusty P3AT will be sitting on a shelf from now on, since I have a new pocket gun:cool:. Now, a question, is this a scaled down 1911, or something totally different? Also, does anyone know the value of this thing? I cant find it on ANY auction sites, so a comparison is very difficult.

In the pics, it is a little dirty, as I have yet to clean it.

I saw one recently on an internet auction site & the asking price was in the vicinity of $800. You got a bargain.

You stoled it!

Pocket 9's go $800+ around here, used ones, with no boxes or papers. You just may have gotten the deal of the year.

I just saw one go locally for $650, and I remember thinking that was a good deal. You pretty much stole that one at $350.

In all seriousness, I am always so happy when I see people get a great deal like this! Congratulations!

T'aint made no more *thus scarce) for a reason. Something about a lawsuit... Kahr... etc.

Replacement parts, if any, will be harder to find than hen's teeth, should anything go south on ya.

Whilst you got a great deal, it does make me wonder why it was priced thus... since any dealer should know the old supply/demand economics thing.

Congratulations. (shaking head and saying to self, "WHY can't I ever walk into deals like that?") Sounds like you got the deal of a lifetime Jackal.
