I love revolvers and I'm young

22. I love my .357 revolver, I love shooting it, I love fondling it, and I love cleaning it. I like my semi-auto too, but it has a small niche for my use, whereas my revolver (and all others) is just a cool gun and useful for just about anything.

I'm 32, enjoy both revolvers and semi-autos. My wife is 36, prefers revolvers for simplicity.

I'm VERY far from young but yeah, revolver guys tend to have a look at others' wheelguns. Especially if it's a nice classic (a REAL classic, not those new ones) or something unusual.

The youngsters that try out my revolvers (if they ask, I always say yes) seem to get a kick out of 'em.

In my Armed Security Officer qualification, I was the only one shooting a revolver, a 3-inch S&W Model 13-3 .357 Magnum, and I outshot the lot of them, Glocks, S&W M&P autos, Berettas, and XDs. Mine was the only one the rangemaster asked to buy. I said, "No. It's not for sale."

My duty gun is a 4-inch S&W Model 681 .357 Magnum. When it comes out of the holster, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that, yeah, the old security officer has a gun. Luckily, no one has had to hear it.

Oh the Revolver...

I've had a few 6 shooters and am fairly young. Nothing like walkin' around the house with some tuned SAAs goin' clickityclack. The wif-e gets a little annoyed, but that is kinda fun too.

I really like being able to practice at different objects in the house and the evils ones on the TV. But as others have said, they just feel great.

I've had a few comments at the range with the Glock 20...people can't figure out why such a small pistol makes such a loud boom.

But I've had way more comments on when I'm carrying a $130 Heritage in .22LR. Poppin 12ga empties and clay pigeons at 50+ yards get's them comin' to take a look see. Of course they are usually highly disappointed.

Well I am young also I will be 62 YRS OLD IN SEPTEMBER ..I LOVE REVOLVERS SOLD OFF MOST OF MY AUTOS.

I'm 34. And I too prefer a revolver. It is great when I am at the range and guys that are both older, and younger than me pull out their semi's and literally "pray and spray" their shots all over a B-34. While I get fist size groupings from my revo's. I almost always can see guys coming up behind me, or peeking over behind the lane dividers and can hear them saying, "what the hell is this 'kid' shooting. Specially when I make their targets sway in the breeze from the percussion of my snubbie .357's.
