I confess to being a caliber junky and my addiction seems never ending.
Primarily been focused on handgun calibers for the last 50 years because my 30/06, 30/30 and 45/70
did everything I needed to do with a rifle but then I discovered AR-15's could be shot all day long without developing a sore shoulder and the ammo was cheap, at the age of 70 this was a pleasant surprise but, alas, not good enough because 5.56 is no good for deer hunting in my neck of the woods and wasn't appealing to me anyway, so I was compelled to purchase a 6.8 SPC upper for my rifle. This only created a desire for a smaller caliber bolt gun, so off to the store for a 6.5 Creedmoor.
Having satisfied my immediate rifle cravings my attention has now turned back to handguns.
My local GS has a nice 1903 Colt for sale, never had a 32ACP. so the craving is starting to escalate my compulsive buying habit.
I would really like to find a help group but I'm afraid I might turn out to be a bad influence.
