I've had this thing for years and shot it will all order of cartridges from 264wm to 300wby on down.
It was set up at 50 yds where my son (7) was using it to bone up on his fundamentals for small bore shillouette with his cricket. After sighting in my new 22-250 bbl for my encore we each shot it a couple times with the "deer gun". In retrospect a 55g sp handload from a 22-250 may have been pushing it, but again its been shot with so many high intensity rounds I never concieved of the possibility.
One round merely peened a slight diviot. The other as you can see punched a rather neat slug through the entire 3/8 thickness.
I'll still use the target for rifles or rimfires beyond 50 (100for centerfire) but for closer in its off limits.
