So Cal is selling out of everything

I finally decided to buy a Glock 19, I spent a week looking for one with no luck at every gun shop within 50 miles. I finally gave up and went in to put a deposit down so I would get a crack at one when some came in. I got lucky and the FedEx guy showed up with 10 in while I was filling out the paper work:). They sold 6 in the 45 min I was in the shop. This was a Wed during lunch. The guy behind the counter told me they were selling every handgun they had (except for Glock 21's:confused:). He also told me they had 20 deposits on Supernova Tacticals with a 3-4 month back log:what:.

The only hard guns to find around me are AR`s, AK`s, and M14`s. 7.62x39 ammo is a little harder to find now too.

I'm in SoCal...handguns aren't too bad (the ones we're allowed to buy, anyway), but semi-auto rifles, especially military variants, are non-existent. I haven't seen an M1A for sale in my town in over half a year now. Wallyworld has been out of all military calibers and handgun stuff for two months. I'm not too worried about it, but some folks I know that have hungry weapons are getting a little panicky.

Hey if hard working law abiding Hispanics are buying guns more power to them. If it is in Texas you're talking about, I hear over seventy folks, mostly hispanic-Americans, have been kidnapped and taken across the border (Governor of Texas on Glenn Beck one night). So given that the cartels and Mexi-gangs target hispanics for crime and persecution I don't blame them one bit. Heck if some few dozen law-abiding hispanics happen to wipe out a few hundred gang members lawfully in self-defense you'll hear my hyper-white redneck behind cheering "Viva la Mexico". More law-abiding hispanics armed means the cartels will one day have to pay a higher toll for their crimes. Plus anytime a gang-member finds his final resting place before his time is a good thing.
