Gotta vote for my favorite, Beretta 92 compact L type M.
Beautiful Beretta style, perfect Beretta reliability, fits small hands with 9 rd of Beretta firepower!
Also much slimmer for carry.

I own a Makarov and it is dead reliable.

I used to worry about capacity, Then the AWB expired and it was no longer a problem. All my handguns can sit at full capacity.
That being said, I still carry the mak-daddy from time to time.
