IME, the Franchi 612 has problems cycling low recoil slugs, bird, and buckshot.

Sorry, about your security 612( I saw your other thread) but mine works like a charm..I have 30" extra barrel for Trap and skeet shooting( I was looking for a shorter one but it's hard to find). I've used all kinds of ammo's the only one that doesn't work is a birdshot with a green shell..forgot the name .I'll check my gunsmith if he has any suggestion on your shotty. But Anyway here's mine(Sorry 'bout the pic. I used my cell camera my digital camera is in my truck.Here u go..Oopss..don't know how to post pic.

I would look at the Winchester Super X2 Praticals, these are set up from the factory for 3 gun matches. The FN SLPs are the same shotguns with a slightly shorter barrel and less capacity.
