Hypothetically, if the government passed a law tomorrow requiring all people to register any firearms they possess how would you respond? For those who are not aware, when you fill out the federal background check to purchase a firearm the gun purchase is not recorded by the federal government (although some states do). The check is simply for the dealer to determine if the person is allowed by federal law to own a gun.

We don't do wacky off the wall legal hypotheticals. There are enough real life legal issues facing gun owners without having to go looking for more.

And, to be honest, you are in a roundabout way asking people if they would violate the law, and that's not something we discuss here at THR because it puts gun owners in a bad light.
