M9 , actually love my Taurus knockoff

why? cause I already have 30 round mags for it, handles +p hollowpoints just fine, never had a stovepipe or jam, may not have incredible takedown but I won't run out of ammo too soon. I usually carry 17 with 15 backup

After I posted this it occured to me that I do only own one 9MM and it happens to be a 6906. and I probably wouldn't trade it for a 5906 because it's more concealable.

If I could only have two it would be both the 59 and the 6906 because the 5906 magazines will work in a 6906 and I'd only have to buy one type of magazine.

If I could only have one .40 S&W it would be my 4006 hands down

I do only own one 9mm, and it's an HK P30.

A close second would be a BHP... Someday I'll have one...

HK of course.

P30, P2000, P2000SK, USP (any flavor). Picking one is almost impossible. :)

Much as I love the venerable Browning Hi Power and would love to have one, my primary use for a 9mm is as a concealed carry pistol. Although the BHP is a fine choice as a full-size service pistol, I think as one pistol for day to day concealed carry, I'd rather have the Glock 19.

I find the BHP much easier to conceal carry than the WIDE slide Glock, BHP easy choice. :)

I hate to say it, but it would be a Glock. I'm in love with my 26, but if I could have only one, a gen 2 17 would be tough to beat.

I sold of all the nine's I owned with the exception of a Star M30. Just a reliable work horse. In all the years I have owned it, it has never had a jam and eats any 9mm fed to it.

I didn't see a specific use presented by the OP, so I vote for my XD(m) 5.25 competition model. It is the only 9mm I own and I use it for competition. It has NEVER failed me in any way. Never a malfunction and shoots every round of ammo I've used equally accurately.

Only One 9mm?

Voting other.
I guess it would be something slim enough to be a comfortable carry yet strong and accurate enough to use for home defense.
