Does anyone out there know the status of the bill? I can't find any press on it. Most recent I've found is from March 8th. I think I remember hearing it was passed in a committee.

I keep reading that it will be voted on in "the beginning of April". Never read an exact date. It better pass, it's about time!

True, but his decision can be vetoed and the bill passed by a majority of votes in the House. (or something like that.)

Already did that.....a few times. I also know that, that ()o() quinn says he will veto it. However it still has hope....Just more red tape if he does.

I think that is the right bill. As of today it is "Placed on calendar order of 3rd reading- Short debate".

Called my Rep. and he supports this bill. Now everyone needs to call their representitives and urge them to do the same.

Has to come out of committee first...speaker, then voted on, then passed by other senate...then signed by governor (he promised to veto any carry bill), then overrode by sixty precent majority of both houses.

Lots of work to do yet
