I'm double pocket carrying now...any reason why I shouldn't?

There is nothing wrong with carrying a small pistol or revolver (or one of each for that matter) in each front pocket. You must not, however, put any other objects in those pockets. Keys, coins, pens, etc. can jam mechanisms or even press triggers. As long as there is room in your remaining available pockets for your other everyday carry items, go right ahead. Or wear cargo pants. ;)

As we all know, anytime we lawfully carry a firearm we accept a huge responsibility of:

Following the law
being proficient with our weapon
Carrying our weapon in a safe and secure manner
Maintainin (at all times), security and control over our weapon

That being said and no matter if we draw a weapon or not. Any situation where we are, we have interjected a firearm into the equation. That fact lends to many possibilities that may or may not be in our total control.

Maintaining proper control over (1) one weapon is a serious enough task. The benefit of carrying (2) two firearms doesnt really out weigh the risk of failed retention unless you have a occupational level of exposure to danger.

These are just my thoughts and I am not an expert at anything.
