In this heat what is your CCW?

SIG P232SL in stainless in a High Noon Closing Argument IWB holster in horsehide.

I keep the gun wiped down with EEZOX every few days and so far it's been fine.

I carry my 642 in front pocket, with a browning hi-power on belt in Texas heritage. If I’m doing manual labor outside, I drop the hi-power and stick with the pocket gun.

Got a bobbed-hammer M37 in the late winter-early spring. I've been pocket-carrying it almost exclusively instead of my Kel-Tec in my pocket or Ltwt 1911 IWB. I held onto my P3AT and figured if I didn't switch back to it in the summer heat I would get rid of it. I haven't switched back to it yet but I might soon!

In the heat, Rohrbaugh in a Hedley.

Cool to cold, Kimber Pro CDP in a Brommeland.

Smith 649 carried IWB at about 10 o'clock, either under an untucked shirt of in a homemade "tuckable" holster. Not comfortable, but it works.

Kahr PM9 in DeSantis pocket holster in Cabela's hiking shorts with big pockets.

Or Glock 19 in a Sparks IWB - t-shirt and floppy cover shirt. Luckily I don't have to dress up.

The Kahr or my 642 in my pocket for neater occassions.

I found with a pocket gun I can always carry the 642.

Same as cold or nice weather . . . . Kimber Pro Carry Stainless .45 ACP with Meprolight 3-dot sights and CTC grips in a Pager Pal IWB.

I struggled for a couple of years to find a CC holster that was comfortable and worked, even if I wasn't wearing a coat or jacket. Then I saw these guys at the NRA convention:

I carry a full-size M1911 (a Kimber Classic Custom in this case) in an IWB of my own design. This holster has a flap of leather between the gun and body, and the leather is sweat-proofed with Sno Seal. I carry under a T-shirt.

This holster has the added advantage that the flap provides a place to locate a "button" (leather cam) that keeps the safety engaged while the gun's in the holster. In fact, you can take an empty, cocked and unlocked pistol, put it in the holster, and when you pull it out, it will be cocked and locked.

My hot weather gun is a Taurus Millinium PT-145. 10 rounds of .45 230 grain hollow points that fit in the palm of your hand, what's not to love ?
I carry IWB in an Uncle Mikes, usually at 3:00 or 3:30 on my waist...

Right now I only have one carry piece, a Bulgarian Makarov. I either carry in the small of the back with a belt clip holster or in a small Army surplus shoulder bag.

I'm saving to buy a real pocket pistol.

NP3-finished P7 in a Milt Sparks VM II. Small enough to conceal easily under a t-shirt, and the NP3 does a good job of repelling rust.
