Howdy THR folks,
It seems that just about everyone in this continental U.S. is presentally feeling the Heat Wave.
Now that everyone is really feeling the heat, what would be your CCW of choice in this heat?
Plastic or steel, or any combination thereof.
..and what would it be?

Mine is H & K Compact in .40 cal..

Same thing it always is -- Para Ordnance CCW (commander size 1911) carried IWB.

it depends, its not uncommon for me to still carry a 1911, but depending on clothing.circumstance it is sometimes a 642 in a pocket holster, or an xd9 sub compact in a desantis accumold.

SIG 226 ST as per. Only two things on that to watch - slide release and decock levers - steel - have to keep a film of RIG or CLP on those and - base of mag - also plain steel - needs similar protection.

Rig is the usual too - K&D belt slide. Outer garment is only main difference when out - very lightweight Smith & Alexander denim vest - doesn't add much to the heat problem but does conceal extremely well.

I rotate my CZ 75BD/OWB, 40P IWB and P11/IWB.

If the P11 had the same accuracy and trigger as my CZ 75, I'd carry that sucker exclusively. Oh well.

If it's superultramegasweatinglikeshaqinthefinals hot then I'll carry my 340PD in a Fist ultra thin kydex IWB.
