In which states can you still buy a firearm from a local private seller

Is there a resource or list of "free states" where local private sales are still permitted without a FOID card or permit to purchase or background check?

I don't know of a list, but there is nothing illegal about doing so here in GA. I still look at a drivers license to make sure the buyer is a GA resident and old enough to legally own a gun I'm selling.
