Hi all!
A friend of mine is wanting to sell a couple of pistols. I was able to pull some rough valuations out of Gun Digest but his Blackhawk in 44 has me a bit stumped due to it's age.
What he has is a Ruger Blackhawk in 44 Magnum. The serial # is 55XX. It has a 6 1/2" barrel and overall is in about a conservative 90-95% condition with a bit of a cylinder line and some holster wear at the muzzle.
Here are a couple quick pictures I snapped.
The other pistol is a Ruger Single Six in 22. It's seen some good use and has some nicks, dings, and the usual assortment of scratches. Overall I'd rate it somewhere around 80-85% on a conservative guess.
Here is a picture of it.
What I need is a reasonable idea of the value of each of the pistols, especially the 44. My buddy is looking to sell them to fund a Garand.
Any help is appreciated.
