State farm allows me to keep a separate policy for "sporting equipment." With a zero deductible, it's about one percent of the total value on a per year basis.
I used to have Collectables Insurance but this year I switched to Eastern. The premium was about 60% for the same coverage. I’m happy to say I have no idea about hw either company behaves when you try to get them to pay out for a loss. I hope I never have the occasion to find out.
I'll have to look into this myself. Many of those old 79.00 dollar milsurps I bought like crazy aren't that cheap anymore. Not counting all the vintage commercial firearms I've picked up.
Just got personal property policy thru State Farm. It includes anything I want to put on it. Even my drone. It was suggested to get one not attached to your home owners policy because if you make claim on a personal property policy it will not affect your home owners policy.
