Internet gun purchase question

I bought some used rifles recently on internet. Seller had his ffl guy send firearms to my ffl guy. My ffl guy just received his ffl, this is the first use of his ffl. The question--- can i just take possession from my ffl guy or does he have to treat it as a sale from him to me, including a back ground check? Thanks for the information in advance.

Your FFL's IOI should have gone over this with him during his interview. It's a transfer the same as any other, the guns go in to his bound book and get logged out after you do the 4473, pass the background check, etc.

Since he's that new I'd suggest he sign up at http://www.FFLOnly.com/ and start reading.

It will be the same as going in your local gun store and buying a firearm except you have already payed for this firearm and all that left is filling out the Federal paper work and the back ground check. Hope this helps
