OK a recent thread got me thinking...what's the "best'(worst)internet rumors and myths that we've read(gun related)
how about......Glocks kaboom every time you shoot handloaded .40 cal.
you can't hit anything past 3 yards w/ a snubby
9mm won't even break the skin,but a .45 will kill you if it hits your pinky....

As a newer member here I've picked up a few...

Bears cannot be effectively stopped with any weapon currently known to man.

Bears can be effectively stopped with a funny look and flailing your arms.


There are only currently 2 gun stores in the continental United States that have decent prices and have good customer service. These 2 stores are also cloaked with some sort of Klingon technology and known by 4 people, 2 of whom are dead.
