Some states and locals investigated if gas station owners were overcharging or "price gouging" on gas prices when they rose so quickly last year.

What are the chances of the same authorities looking into primer price gouging"?

First, you would have to find a politician who gives a BLEEP about how much primers cost.

Good luck with that!

1. There's no chance.

B. If there was a chance, I'd heap the same ridicule on the investigators as I do and we all should when they invetigate ANY alleged "gouging", which is impossible in a free market economy, absent a monopoly/oligarchy.

Yes, I know my signposts are not consistent - s'posed to be a funny.

Got something against free market capitalism? Sounds like more socialist blather propagated by politicians to make the public think they care for you. We don't need more "Nanny State" people looking out for our best interest, we need less.

Uh, which Politician is going to be voted out of office because of high primer prices?

Think, think, think. I can't think of one.

If it does not effect the Politician’s job status, their Oligarch owners will charge what the market can bear.

Incidentally, you are buying a lot of primers. But someone else is getting to shoot them.

From the many "gouging" threads here I guess the public schools stopped teaching Econ 101 and captialism long ago. When ever did we turn in to an "I'm entitled" country?
Come on guys. No one owes any of us anything. Bitch about shortages if you want. But don't ask for a solution that drives us closer to totalitarianism. We've got too many of them already, and I'm not sure we can recover from them. Don't throw gas on the fire. :banghead:

My post was a sarcastic take on the primer shortage, not a political statement.

Did I vote for Obama?

Actually I couldn't bring myself to vote for either one of them this past election.
