Is $120 for a Marlin model 60SB a good deal?

I'm trying to get as large an opinion pool as possible. I've bid on this rifle and so far most think it's a good deal if the price holds. What do you think, first time seller, grandpa's gun. I will be picking it up FTF if I win the bid so I can inspect it before handing him the money. Any advise or opinion is welcomed.

I have one identical to that one, and I paid $135 for it lightly used at my local gun dealer.
It is not the most accurate 22 that I have, but it's the most fun and absolutely reliable functioning.

I paid 165 or so for a new one as a wedding gift to my roommate. 120 is a good buy.

since you are not going to incur shipping charges it is quite a nice deal. your not necessarily stealing him blind but i think all parties will be happy at $120

Thanks for your insights. I've seen them here and there for around $175 online so I hope that the price holds. I still have to pay for the FTF FFL there in GA so that would bring total price to $140 plus round trip gas. I think that's a fair deal.

Thanks also for the input on the rifle itself. Have wanted one because they are always said to be utterly reliable.

You'd better get that. IF it is indeed 'new in box' and has never been fired, that is a smokin' deal.
