I just picked up some Blazer 9 mm at walmart for 8.97 a box of 50.
They are brass not aluminum cases.
I normally shoot WWB or remington UMC at the range.
I have never had a problem with it. The aluminum causes have been fine in .38spl except for the case mouth splitting ever so slightly.(it split less about a millimeter)
It was a little dirty too, but I go the ammo for free so I won't complain to much.
True and I use the 9MM,40's and 45's and ive had no problem with any caliber bought.Figured id save the Corbon and Hornady in reserve for CC,and shoot the cheaper stuff,as it seems more economical to me.
I've shot this ammo in 9mm, .40 and .45 and never had an ammo-related problem. At Wal-Mart it is slightly cheaper (per 100 rounds, or two 50-round boxes) than the 100-round WWBs. I've also been shooting Blazer aluminum in different calibers for 20+ years.
I've shot a lot of the Blazer aluminum, mostly with no problems.
I quit using it in 9mm Makarov because it seemed to setback very easily.
My CZ75B doesn't like it and stovepipes every so often when using it.
Other than that the results have been very good. Most of what I've shot is 9mm, but I've also shoot a good bit in 10mm, some in .357Mag and a little in .44Mag and .380ACP.
I have used Blaser many times and only once did I have a problem.I tried it once in my old Ruger 44 mag carbine and it stuck in the chamber after firing the round.I was able to poke the empty out with a cleaning rod with no problem. So unless I want my carbine to be a single shot firearm,I use brass cartridges.
