I agree with that statement...What is more telling is wording that shows

Armed Israeli teachers = no school shootings. Unarmed American teachers = many school shootings

Those aren't the words I would choose but rather the message I'd want to deliver. And I agree, it is a great pic. She is really quite pretty.

Well most of the teachers at my high school were afraid of guns anyways. you know at my high school, sites that had guns on them were blocked from all of the school computers. You couldnt even read about one, let alone have one. I like the pic though.

Love your work. I think I would get rid of the shooting glasses since they really wouldn't be used in a self defense classroom setting. I also think while the photo is great, it appeals to the guys mostly. The black outfit might come across as a bit too tactictal or evil-looking. Does the average teacher look like that? I had a high school teacher that carried years ago. It was common knowledge in her class. She was a forty-something teacher, not a hot babe. Keep up the great work on promoting our rights.

People should read up on Israeli gun laws. They would be shocked to learn that Israeli gun law are some of the strictist in the world. Their laws make California or Massachusetts laws look decent. I have read that people who have occupations that are consider high risk to attack can be approved to carry a weapon, but that is on a limited bases with many restrictions. In recent years gun laws in Israel have become stricter, much like is happening in Switzerland or South Africa.

The wording is good. I agree that "why did we disarm" should probably be "why do we disarm."

However, variety is the spice of life . . . so . . .

I agree that one without the shooting glasses is a good idea.

A whiteboard/chalkboard in the background would establish "classroom" context.

I looked for something more "traditional" in clothing, but the kind of traditional that I grew up with is evidently long gone, so I won't complain about what she's wearing.

Looks pretty good to me. I do think "do" (present tense) is more correct than "did" (past tense). My previous post was just to provide an alternative which may infact be too busy.

I had a teacher once that was very nicely put together and she liked to wear plunging neck line clothing.... drove us guys CRAZY.

When I was a kid a Teacher could stand with a paddle and that was enough.
Now all ways of discipline have been taken away and now we are at the point where they can not defend themselfes or the kids. Only us over 45 are going to remember what I am talking about.

I love it, the only thing I would do different would be some cute little kids maybe K to 2nd grade students in the floor watching their teacher, put a Glock or other pistol on their hip in a holster, with a white board for the background. While she teaches.

Put it in normal every day classroom setting. When I was teaching 2nd grade we did a lot of sitting in the floor.

Great work and wonderful ideas though. As a teacher I worry that I would not be able to protect either my class or myself were anything to happen.

I hate the collectivist and the socialist aspects of Israel. However, I do appreciate a relatively high incidence of armed citizens with military small arms.

But the high incidence of military arms among the population is entirely a product of their 'collectivism and socialism.'

If not for that element of their society, they'd have gun laws as or more restrictive than Western Europe.

I'm just saying, it makes the argument behind these a rather great leap - you (and I) don't actually want the US to be like Israel.
