My wife got a Rock River Arms AR-15 chambered in 22 at a gun store a few weeks ago. Honestly, it's giving me a poor impression of Rock River so far. She had to wait almost 2 weeks on a mag for it since it didn't come with one, it didn't come with a rear sight, and worst of all it didn't come with a manual. I figured it'd operate like a normal AR, but maybe I'm missing something.

Here's the issue: it won't chamber a round over 2/3 of the time. When the bolt goes forward it'll put the round about halfway into the chamber. It's not for lack of CLP, I put plenty in and worked the bolt. Ran a bore snake thru the barrel several times and can't see any obstructions in there. Maybe she got a bad mag or the gun's just defective. She's probably taking the gun, a few of the rounds that litterally bent when they failed to chamber, and the mag back to the store tomorrow to see if they have any info on it. I've been on Google and so far have been unable to locate a manual for the gun.

I've got a decent amount of experience with 5.56x45 mm ARs, enough to see double feeds due to mags, jams due to lack of CLP on the bolt, jams due to lack of cleaning in the lower receiver, but I've never seen a round fail to chamber. I have zero experience with 22 cal ARs though, so any suggestions on what I might be missing would be greatly appreciated!
