I feel your pain on the long wait.

I called for the wife and I on 1/18 and the earliest appointment (county finger prints..etc) was 5/5 then add 6 months to that and I won't see an answer until November.

My county states that it will me no more than 90 days, guaranteed.
No appointment needed, just swing in and start the process.
I remember pretty well that there were probably four or five other guys applying that day, one guy renewing.
I got mine three weeks to the day that I walked into the sheriff's department.
This was years ago, however. I've seen first hand what kind of run on CCPs is taking place right now.

Sorry to hear that. I got mine in about one month from the denver police department, no questions asked.
