How long did it take to process your CCW application?

Okay,

I took my CCW class in January, but I had to wait to apply because Arapahoe County (Denver Metro Area) would only allow applications by appointment. I waited until the appointment date and took care of the application process. While finishing the process, the guy who was helping me said that it would take up to 90 days to recieve the license. I was fully aware of this and I told him that many friends recieved their permits in less than 90 days. He told me that the CBI is so backed up that he could almost gurentee that I would not get my license for nearly (if not exactly) 90 days.

How long did it take you recieve you CCW permit? I am particularly intertested in the Colorado residents.

I just recently got mine in Newport News Virginia. It took at total of 13 days from the time I filled out the paperwork until I received it in the mail. I was pretty impressed.

Been years ago, but it took two weeks here in Florida. I believe that is pretty fast based on the mentality of the typical state workers. I speak with experience, I am a retired state employee.

My Washington permit (30 years ago) took 78 days. Now I hear it is only 2 weeks. My Idaho taken 32 days and that was 6 years ago.
