"It was nothing,"
Thank goodness for a free state where the police know the law and the rights of their citizens....
It's all the Mass. transplants that freek out whenever they encouter freedom.
When they come to our small town, they whine because there's no municipal trash collection and can't understand that WE DON'T WANT THEIR OUTRAGEOUS TAXES and are more than happy to lug our own trash to the dump. They come becasue NH has the lowest tax burden in the nation and then they whine for more gov't services. They come because of the good economy and the friendly business environment and then they try to bring along their socialism.
I hope NH can hold on... If the Mass. liberals don't get them it will be the black robes in Concord.
Rant over...

ROCHESTER — Police say a man was within his rights when he walked into Hannaford on Milton Road with a holstered gun Thursday night.
Police received a call from Hannaford around 8 p.m. after a man was seen entering the store with a holstered gun, Sgt. Steve Burke said.
"It was nothing," Burke said. The man had a permit to carry a concealed weapon and committed no crime, he said.
Still, he said it is a good idea to call police if you see anything suspicious.
"Most definitely. That's how we're able to solve crime," he said. "We welcome it."
