We finished this past weekend with 11 new people introduced to Integrated Threat Focused Shooting taught by Brownie. There were also 3 folks from April's course.
Some folks were experienced shooters that had taken other handgun courses other places and some were new to shooting with less than an hour's time handling a handgun.
Everyone did very well and performed safely (I'm as proud of that as anything when you consider how many times the guns were drawn from holster, fired and returned to the holster all without a single misshap! ). The new shooters as well as the folks with prior training came out of it with the ability to draw quickly and put rounds on the BG fast while moving away from the threat.
I hope some of the folks on the forum will recount their experience in the class for everyone. I'm obviously a proponent of point shooting for when close/fast defensive handgun use is required and I'm sure folks are tired of me singing it's praises.
JMusic and I want to thank Brownie for coming out and providing the training and Paul Ward and Frank Brewer for their help setting up and making things go well.
