It's a sad day at the range

Yeah, market forces suck the life out of our hobbies sometimes.

I am grateful to have acquired/ hoarded when I did. Haven't bought ammo for long time. Last trip to the range, actually shot less. My groupings were excellent from the start, and the only reason to throw more money down range was to feel the the awesome power of recoil. It was kind of nice to empty mags and put cartridges back in boxes for a change.

My LGS still gets in a good supply of ammo. It's sells out quickly but they still get it. Yesterday they actually had a lot of 9mm FMJ in stock and 20 boxes of Lrg. Pistol primers. I have plenty of almost everything except 357 magnum brass.

At least you're shooting .40, you'll have a better chance finding that in general than say 9mm. .40 has been more common (although still not lasting too long) than 9mm which is gone instantly.
