Poor Glocks.

Ugly as all get out, bulky like a brick, and has the personality of a politician, but unlike a politician, will back you up, will fight for you until it's exhausted, and will take a beating.

But I'll stick with my USP tupperwear :D.

...an act of repentance...

The next time you are in your friendly neighborhood gunsmith's shop, ask the maker of fine 1911s what he carries everyday?--GTOShooter

I always suspected, after the first time I looked into his eyes, that he was deeply troubled man. I guess building fine 1911s must be an act of repentance, in an attempt to save his soul, while still walking on the dark side.

I guess I can try to help by bringing him fine bright stainless steel or pure and innocent deep blued steel. I'm sure it's the only thing that can save him.:)

Respectfully,

Pull them out of the public schools if you must because once they are hooked they will never be free!!

Thats right, once you shoot a Glock you will be hooked for life!!:neener:

I got to shoot VonFatman's collection of 45s the other day. HK Tactical, Sig 220, Beretta Couger, CZ 97B SA and a Glock 21. I've shot some 1911s in the past and have a Delta Elite.

Of all the guns I shot the 21 the best, but I blame it on the Heinie Straight 8 sights. They just WORKED for me. Probably doesn't hurt that I have ~6000 rounds of trigger time on my Glock 24P either.

Glocks, they work fine and have reasonable accuracy, but they have no personality, no soul. They all look and feel the same, blocky, chunky, black hunks of filled plastic. Sure you can put a piece of grip tape on it, throw it down the street, and it will still function. So I guess glocks do have both beneficial and detrimental attributes. Makes a fine carry piece, but you wouldn't want to take it to a Bar b que. :D

.....And Saint Gaston reached into his DeSantis Fanny Pack, and immediately had an AD, which shortened his manhood considerably.

Just so you know, coffee burns when it shoots out your nose.

Sheesh, campers...

What really matters is if the dang thing points where you point it.

That works for me with a 1911. And I own one.

It also works for me with a Glock. But I tend to shoot low (when "point shooting") with small frame revolvers.

Gonna buy a Glock. Because it feels right, and works for me.

I cannot believe...

I cannot believe how many of you have fallen from the true path of the righteous...for shame....
Perhaps it is passing fad you say...
I say nay....
you cannot just have one....
not just one of those unholy Glock guns
Look at how many of you who have testified
That no matter how you've tried...
You could not stick with one
of those damnable Glock guns....
Instead some of you have gone twice, if not thrice..
to the sellers of of those plastic Tupperware guns.
I, myself, have resisted all temptations
At times, when tempted, I find myself taking a libation....
or two...but each time I have resisted the Call of the Glock.
Verily, I have stayed on the path of the free
Instead, I have collected the CZ
and the HK and other alphabetical guns
for I find that I cannot just have one.
I do not scorn the lowly Glock.
just that I choose to not have one in my house....but my 18 year old daughter....
Hmmm. methinks l must keep an eye on her
I have noticed her straying
though I have warned her that she must be obeying...until she can....
Nay, I cannot think that thought,
but the time is nye for her to buy her second gun.
i suspect that she may already bought herself....a Glock!
Oh woe is me.
Oh the shame!

At least she didn't bring home a RG .38, or a Jennings .25 Chrome finish with pink grips...

I have my druthers on firearms, I respect the choices of others....I mean if a pimp in New Orleans wants " genuine imitation" Mother of Pearl grips on a gun that works...thats his business.

Jennings won't run for long, super glue melts the grips when trying to glue them back...the RG spits lead forward....but it would nice if the lead exited the bbl when doing so...everytime would be nice...

But you know....I have NEVER messed up a grip screw , changing grips on my Keltec P -11 :p

Granted my 1911 or K frame refuses to get to close to my P-11 - the cooties might spread or something....:)

Our young lab loves to chew so much, especially rubber or plastic. Although she can't go shooting handguns with me, she has her own Glock 17 to knaw on in times of stress. Tastey!

Imagine her showing up in a hemp skirt, blonde hair in dreds, announcing that she's joined PETA and that leather is MURDER, and I think you'll agree that you're blowing this out of proportion.

All right I'll bite. What's the peoblem with a Glock ? I have a 22 preban with 15 rnd
mags. I haven't shot it that much, but each time I did it stayed together and
shot pretty straight. It isn't the nicest looking sidearm I have, but seems to
to operate fine..What's the story with the Glock witch hunt ? Just askin', thanks bg.
