I bought a prelock S&W 686 from a member here, has yet to arrive, then I bought another beautiful prelock S&W 66-2 via Gunbroker. :D :p I'm also looking at picking up a GP100 3", and now I want a Cowboy action SA. :banghead:

Yes, you do have a problem. Let me help you before it's too late. Send me the 66 immediately before you get totally out of control. It's the least I can do.

Problem? Nah! You just have "Gunitis"- an often communicable disease that affects the main bank account. No one has yet to isolate the specific pathogen but the symptoms are well understood-

an undeniable urge to locate and posses the perfect arm,

a restless nightime sensation that has the patient rummaging through the gun safe at all hours checking and rechecking calibers and barrel lengths,

confusion and dissorientation while at the counter of larger gun stores or pistol range.

This often leads to "spousal irritation"; a sub-symptom or side effect.

Other indications of progessive deterioration in the patient include swelling of the credit card balances and a decided shrinking of resources away from other obligations.

There is no known cure. Although, medical literature has often referenced theraputic effects of particiapting in gun clubs with frequent exercise at pistol ranges, both indoor and outdoor.

-From "The Physician's Companion Guide to Sporting Diseases", a little known work.

Hi. I'm Ben, and I'm a recovering hopoloholic.
I haven't bought a gun since Friday.

I feel your pain man.

What's the problem; is it in finding more room in your safe to store these latest acquisitions? Is it in calling your insurance agent and getting yet another rider on your policy? Or is it because you've just recently spent a couple of grand on ammo, and another couple of grand on these revolvers, only to discover you don't have any .38 Special or .357 magnum ammo in the house? Is that the problem?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this affliction has no cure. There is nothing you can do about it except enjoy it and go broke while you're doing it like the rest of us!!! :p

:DI can cure the 686 problem just let me know and I will send you a copy of an FFL to ship it to.:D

Does it say anything in the Guide about Sigsickness? Because my first one is on its way and I have heard disturbing things about catching it. :)

Some of the guys I know always ask me what the gun of the week is. In fact, the guys I usually get my guns through ran out of the forms for documenting the purchase of two or more handguns in a week two weeks ago. That is always a problem for me. Until your problem is that bad, I wouldn't consider it a problem.
