I like REacher books. Plots move right along, enough action. I'm not reading novels to learn how to be a tough guy, cope with the real world, bone up on strategy and tactics, or gain political insight. Even Hunter's Point of IMpact has its rough spots.

I think the Reacher novels are about the most over rated comic book stuff I've ever tried to read. "Kwai Chang Reacher" is about right. Just a toothbrush and an attitude, and all of that MP experience that makes him tougher than a Ranger battalion.....gimmee a break.
