Just another handgun challenge.

Since the last post, I've bought another model 10, this one a 10-5.

I've been shooting these anytime there's enough daylight. I moved my torso target to my 100 yd. berm and have been having a ball with it. Yesterday I had a little time to shoot and happened to have my phone in my pocket so I could take a quick pic-

Both these revolvers have outstanding single action triggers, breaking at 2.5 lbs.like a glass rod, which makes accurate shooting much easier. This particular load is my practice load which is a 158 gr. home-cast SWC loaded in mixed brass over 3.2 grs. of Clays. Velocity is a little over 800 fps. I hold the sights at the tops of the targets shoulders and one can see the amount of drop.

Hope some of you other guys will show some more 100 yd. targets, threads like these are really enjoyable.

We had a Hickok Tutt Shot Competition at the Range one Saturday.

One "Cold" Shot from a .36 Caliber Navy at 75 yards with a Silhouette with a 4x5 target box. Needless to say I missed. I think most of us were shooting over the target (apparently it shoots high). I'm not about to make multiple shots at a long range target. Whenever I need my ego punctured I just talk to a woman.

Somebody needs to lower the bar a bit here to encourage more participation, and I’m just the guy for the job. Excellent shooting to those above!

CZ Shadow 2 owned less than 24hrs, figured why not join the party here and try it at 100 after the first mag at 10...

Had the holdover way to high based on the tunnels through the snow on the beam above the plate. Gonna change the paint to orange to help against the snow and keep trying through the winter.
