I went on a little trip today to visit my daughter and while I was in the area I visited the local Target Master store. The shelves were full of ammo, new and used guns aplenty and I heard someone shooting something full auto in the indoor range.

Felt good, I believe better times are ahead for us.

I thought I'd spread some good news and keep the karma train rolling:D

A 500 round brick of American eagle .22 was $30, 9mm blazer was $14 a box. Not the cheapest I've ever seen but not so expensive that I wasn't interested in buying.

I grabbed 2 boxes of 9mm, I should be picking up my Glock 34 gen4 on Friday:)

My local gunstore has more ammo than walmart these days, and better prices too. Had some green tip 5.56 .55 a round, by the box or in 20 round increments if you wanted them.

$14/box for 9 while high by my standards would probably cause me to buy a couple.
going to start visiting the LGS's by me on a regular basis and if they're that or less, grab a box or 2 every time I hit the range. at least then I'm not depleting my current supply so quickly.

Well,I had just the opposite experience today. Dropped by Palmetto State Armory for a couple of boxes of 9mm and guess what -- no 9mm at all -- no .380 at all

Plenty of .40 and .38 spl. Too bad I don't own either caliber gun.

Was seriously considering buying another 9mm and maybe a .380, but until this ammo situation eases - forget it.

Walmart had 2 - 1000 round cases of American Eagle 62 grain for $447.00 the other day ... thats a little better than what I paid for Silver Bear 62 grain last summer, after shipping it was $478/1000

Not at the wally worlds around here - still have the yahoos lining up and scarfing everything to sell at the flea markets
Same here in northern Virginia. Every time I make it to a box store the shelves are bare. I have some upcoming trips to Arizona, Ohio, and Iowa. Maybe I'll scope out some ammo while I'm there.
