Police model and she’s now the cat’s meow. I’m a tactical midget and just couldn’t get comfortable with the factory synthetic stock. I bought the SpeedFeed short stock but quickly returned it after seeing the pimpy gold “SF†logo. The Hogue overmolded 12†LOP just made shouldering and cheekweld so much easier. I feel like a man again!
Installation was interesting. I didn’t have the forend wrench and expected this to be the worst part of the installation. Surprise, surprise, the nut just twisted loose easily using a pair of needlenose and a squirt of Kroil oil. The cheapass washer that Hogue supplied is a little wide to fit nicely inside the stock. My friend used a bench grinder to square off the sides and that made it perfect. You will need a 7/16†socket head and a long socket extension to mount the screw. That was it.
