If one carries, they carry for the unfortunate situation where they would be justified to use deadly force to stop an attacker(s).
Whether that situation occurs in a "good" or "bad" area is irrelevant to the goal of stopping attacker(s) ASAP.

Oh, you are right. I'm likely to try and tell you (others) "how it is" and I aint the only one guilty of it.
Whether I'm in the position to do so is not up to me, but rather the reader; what one deems abrasive may be enlightening to another.

And there’s a vast difference in “can not” effectively conceal and “unwilling” to effectively conceal.
Some genuinely *can not* effectively conceal a Glock 17 in their everyday life including work, due to dress or work requirements.
Some are simply *unwilling* to buy an entire new wardrobe to conceal a Glock 17 when they can easily and effortlessly carry a S&W J frame, pocket .380 or micro 9x19mm.

If I feel so threatened that I feel it necessary to try to conceal a full size duty handgun, I need to either:

Don’t go to the concerning area.

I say the same thing, unwilling and unable are completely different, we agree on that.
Unable is what I was when I was limited by work clothes; I was willing to have carried a larger gun but couldn't.
Unwilling could carry ____ when not at work (or doesn't work) but is unwilling to dress around it, wear a holster, belt, ect... (and they rarely just say that)

The size of gun is irrelevant, either you feel it prudent to carry or not.
"Don't go to the concerning area" - are "bad" people perceived as immobile? You have to go to them?

Agreed, and would also suggest that in the future posters not respond/add to the problem after reporting posts, it doesn't help, just adds more clutter.
