Kahr owners - 40/9mm swapability?

I'm looking into buying a Kahr PM40. I'm wondering if I can change calibers with a simple barrel swap -- just in case the 40 recoil is too much for my soft little hands.

I checked the Kahr site and PM40 parts aren't yet listed there.

Any help or input from current Kahr owners?

No.
You'd need a new, complete slide, barrel, recoil spring, ejector, and magazine.

I don't know if .40 caliber and 9mm slides and frames are even compatible.

Some guns can easily swap between 40 and 357 sig because they have the same diameter and length case . The 40/9mm swap involves many things and is not practical. BTW at least one maker has low recoil 40 ammo if you don't hand load.
