Probably because Kahr has more of their products in the marketplace for a longer time. I don't think that Kahr has a higher percentage of lemons leaving the factory than any other major manufacturer.Don't have, and have never even held a Kahr to compare, but it seems I read of lots more problems with them.
But like my many others here, I think the PPS 9mm is a better choice.
