Kel-Tec's P11 has been around for quite a while.

Did it go through the same "growing pains" that the P32/P3AT/PF9 are going through?

It is not much bigger than the PF9. The main diff is a little wider.

ddc,

The P-11 never had to mature-it was a good, inexpensive, reliable pistol from the start.

For that matter, I have a p-32 that qualifies for that exact description too.

Kel-Tecs are good pistols.

KT changed the P-11 a bit as teething problems surfaced in the earliest ones so, yes, I'd say it has 'matured'. They are great carry guns but not so great for range use IMO. I limit my shooting to cycling the carry ammo once in a while as I don't find it particularly fun to shoot.

They did work out some bugs, so unless you have a very early model it has already been updated. I found a wealth of information on http://www.ktog.org/ . Here is a link to some trigger mods:

I got mine for pocket carry, but ended up getting a SOB holster from Grandfather Oak. This is THE only gun I have carried that I can occasionally forget I am wearing because of it's small size and light weight. Fix the horrendous trigger a little and it makes a fine little carry gun.
