About how large is the P11? Makarov/PPK size? Subcompact Glock size? Also, the Kel-Tec website says the P11 takes S&W mags. Which model S&W?

How does the power of the P32 compare to the P3AT, and to the P11? What about recoil?

What options seem to be the most popular, and why?

Reliability? Customer service? Pickiness in ammo?

Thanks in advance... :)

Dionysusigma:

The P11 is pretty small, but not as small as a Kahr PM9 if you are looking for a 9mm. Of course the P11 is a double stack pistol with a ten round magazine and the Kahr is a single stack 6 rounder.

The P32 would be a step up from a 22 cal and the P-3AT is a step up from the 32 cal.

The P-3AT is a 380 round and is pretty much the same size as a 9mm round but with less energy.

I had two P11s and ended up getting rid of them because I just could not get used to the P11 very long and very heavy trigger.

I now carry the 7-1/2 ounce, 3/4" thick P-3AT in a front pocket most of the time and hardly even know it's there.

Kel-Tec service has been nothing but outstanding as far as I'm concerned.

The P-11 is about .04 thicker than the Kahr...just a little bit longer as well...not a great deal of difference...KT has more rounds, Kahr has a better trigger....

Smith mags work...The 12 rounders are the most preferred...When I carry my P-11's I use 59series 15 rounders to back them up...

P-32 rides in my back pocket about half the time...P3AT the other half.. :D

GOTO WWW.KTOG.ORG for better info about these weapons...I am a member there and there is alot of info about KT's...

There is a new trigger mod that can be done to the KT's...It is very simple and inexpensive...Cuts the trigger pull down to between 7-8 lbs...

Pocket holsters are popular for the P-11 as well as beltslides and IWB's...

HC slides are available from KT

Nite Sights are as well<~~they suck

hope this helps...

Gelatin and Chronograph Tests of the P-11 & P32 are below. Test of ammo from the P-3AT haven’t been completed.

Many P-3ATs don't care for Russian ammo but accept most other. All of my Kel-Tec pistols love Sellier & Bellot and Cor-Bon.

Other options are gray or OD green grips for the P-11 and P-3AT. The P-32 has a number of colors available. The $20 hard chrome and $15 parkerized slide exchanges are the best value in the industry.

There have been some gelatin tests done with a P-3AT _HERE._ They only used three types of ammo, but the ammo they tested are some of the more popluar brands. So far, this is the only P-3AT gelatin test I can find!
