Might get a better buy from your local little gun shop. Atleast it that way here. $250.00 If there worth a darn and wholsalers have any they should get you one in 2 days.

As a guide to price or to buy you can check galleryofguns.com and go the 'gun genie.' It's a good way to get an idea of what prices are in your area.

I recently bought a pf9 via gun genie for $254

not sure about that, both sportsmans warehouse and academy beats the local gun dealers prices in chattanooga tn ........ Im talking new guns of course

I bought a PF9 and a P32 at Cabela's, and have seen them at several LGS's in Reno. Cabela's seems to carry only the blued finish models and the prices are just "OK", but I did appreciate their lay-away program... I had my PF9 slide satin nickle plated and want to do the same for the P32, otherwise I would get the hard chrome finish. The HC models are a little harder to find, but the blued and parkerized models are cheaper and more commonly available. The nickle plated PF9 looks good and seems to function a bit smoother...

They are cheap/affordable pistols, just be warned that there are drawbacks. Many owners have said they didn't have any issues, but my new PF9 bought from the store had FTF/double feed issues.

As long as this is not your only pistol for SD, you should be ok.

My PF-9 only has a little over 700rds through it, but I love it and have had no issues. With a TLR-3 mounted I carry it pretty regularly.

Go for the Parkerized or Hard Chrome version. The first one I bought was blued and showed signs of holster wear after two weeks. My second one is Parkerizedand shows no wear at all.

one nice option is twisted industries 22lr conversion upper....the draw back, it all most cost as much as the gun...gary

I agree with Sportsman's Wharehouse (never been to an Academy before). The one in Southaven MS (suburb of Memphis) usually has the best prices on new guns around. Last 4 guns I bought from there:

Kel Tec P11 $249
Ruger MKIII Stainless $429
Taurus Judge Public Defender $379
Taurus TCP $199

My father in law got a Ruger LCP for $279 right around Christmas.

There are 5 other gun stores in the area and Sportsmans Warehouse beats them more often than not. Usually a better deal than buying online after you factor in S&H and FFL fees.
