Purchased about 3 weeks ago (with std Leupold rings/ bases and 3.5x10x40 VX 3i scope). Went together and bore sighted with very little scope adjustment - mounting holes very true with barrel. Went to range yesterday for deer season sight-in (as a side note, 3 weeks until rifle deer season - public ranges usually packed with deer rifle shooters this time of year - at range for about 4 hours and not one other shooter showed - hmmmm?) - started at 50 yards, found 1" high bull fairly quick (about 10 rounds) then moved to 100 yards. Fine tuned for about the next 10 rounds - settled into inch or less 5 shot groups for the final 20 rounds. I was shooting my favorite "cheap" stuff (WW White Box 150 grain SP - my other Kimber loved this stuff) - had one group where all 5 rounds were touching. Shot a total of 40 rounds and rifle ready to go. As for the rifle - usual Kimber fit/ finish (beautiful rifle), trigger is the usual excellent, stock wood is gorgeous, typical Super America quality. This is my third Kimber 84M and I must say that shooting these very light rifles takes a different concentration level - very different from my other rifles but once mastered, they will really shoot plus are a joy to carry in the woods. That's about it but for a deer to walk in front of me in three weeks. Good shooting.
