Micheal Ryan-the Hungerford spree-killer-had two Israeli fragmentation-type grenades on him and pipe-bombs-that were stored in the trunk of his Vauxhall Astra car.He didn't use the pipe-bombs but he apparently detonated or nearly detonated one of his hand-grenades,to keep the Swat teams at bay-when they were shouting at him on the loudspeaker and pointed their Heckler and Koch and other weapons at him-from outside of the high-school,he sheltered in.

From my acquaintance with Kraft-Ebing and the history pf
psychos from Gil deRetz[sic] to Peter Kurten[also mispelled]
psychos happen everywhere. Smugness just lets the
psychos sneak up on you unawares and unprotected.

The answer to psychos or criminals in our midst is NOT to
turn society into a prison for everyone. The answer should
be to get the psychos and criminals out of society, and
to protect the decent citizens' right to self-defense and
to the means of self defense.
