Chewin' Tubakkey The UK is becomming like sesame street, with **** like arresting 11 year olds for being "racist", or their ass kissing BBC "news". They are all turning into bed-wetters over there.

And what is worse is that all the brits that it have talked to on the internet always have this patronizing, arrogant, holier-than-thou tone toward conservative americans, because they think we are all racist for not wanting to let all the third world immigrants in, and they think we are potential terrorists for owning guns.

We are not all like that, there are some that follow logic and reason. The problem is that my age group (I'm 20) has been educated by liberals, especially at the college level. It can only get worse, and probably will.

My nation is run by a bunch of cowardly criminal apologists, standing smug atop an imagined plateau of enlightenment and moral superiority. :cuss:

It's interesting that L1A1 FAL SLRs have ended in in various scummy African and other countries, post 1988/1989-and we shooters in the UK,can't own a self-loading centrefire working piece of our firearms history anymore,-only those it seems who serve in the armed forces-can actually use the ex-British SLR service rifles, for inter-forces shoots.

If others can own them, why can't the UK population? Oh because you will turn into a whacko and kill everyone.

At my local Learndirect centre, there is a guy called Adam, who told me-after a lengthy debate about guns and knives-that all guns and knives should be banned from civillian ownership,-exept in expectional cases, if the owner is the following:pest-controller,hunter,culler,fisherman,policeman,security-guard,farmer,soilder,sailor,etc,etc.

His response to what the status quo should be on firearm owner ship was:"All guns and knives should be banned, the public don't need them-even that lever-action rifle in Shaun Of The Dead, should be banned in the UK.He also said to me:"If you want to do target-shooting,use a calibre .177 or .22 pellet not a .22LR or 9mm bullet. The Olymic team,he said ''should not be allowed to own their guns,ONLY the state should-but he at least agreed, that the pistol -teams,shouldn't have to train abroad-because it costs more money to do that.,''.He finally said to me:"Do you need it?,do you really need it?","If I don't need one, then you don't need one-AT ALL!!"Basically he thought that I was a dumbass, for debating it,in the first place.

He thinks that owning a shotgun for self-defence is a bit harsh and stupid.

I'm sure glad Me & my Knife Collection are long gone from that hellhole, If I was still there I'd either be doing hard time for having a Knife collection or i'd have dissapeared underground & done a "V":fire:

I seriously doubt anything short of an Apocalypse will make the general British population wake up & smell the BS they are being spoon fed.:banghead:

Posts: 28 I have such a strong urge to venture off 'The high road' and say what I really think about my country, but I won't.

This is one of the 'Bladed weapons' that was handed in:

No, I'm not kidding. Someone handed in a stainless steel replica Klingon weapon. Or, more likely, his mum did.
Great, I'm so relieved now that this highly concealable 5' prop weapon is not hidden in the pocket of a young thug.

As - I saw an article in the Mirror yesterday about that (or maybe another one), although there they were claiming the police has "siezed" it from someone's home. (I'm not quite sure what they had siezed it for, as AFAIK there is nothing illegal about owning on, even if (as this one apparently was) it has been sharpened).

Oh, and the paper refered to it as a "terrifying martial arts weapon".

Just to make a point about the stupidity of all this, I'm seriously considering going to Asda or Pound Saver and buying the cheepest set of kitchen knives I can and handing them in, together with a note saying I am a "concerned citizen" who was shocked to find such dangerous blades on open sale, and bought them specifically to ensure they were "taken out of circulation".

Next they'll be filling in open pools of water in the Lake District, and blasting the cliffs of Dover.

Bloody dangerous. Chap could get hurt, y'know.

Bloody dangerous. Chap could get hurt, y'know.

That is toff-speak,or posh-speak-for those of you who don't know.In the UK,the middle and working classess refer to one another as mate, guvnor, etc.

Most toffs are rather concerned about bans, because alot of them own guns,swords,knives,etc- and the Labour Party,is supposed to be a working-persons party-listen to John Prescott (Deputy Prime-minister.)talk,he sounds as posh as a dumpster.

"terrifying martial arts weapon".
You know, I have never seen a martial arts weapon that terrified me.
I have seen a martial artist or two that terrified me.
Is there something psychological going on here?
I cannot see "terror" in an inert thing.

Now the Germans have pointy objects too. They need one of these programs immediately

All they need now are the GhostBusters proton-packs and laser-guns,Star-Trek laser-pistols,longarms from startrek, the Darleck laser-cannons from Dr Who,and YES even a lone star cap gun."It can be converted to fire a .45 Long Colt round, said a police officer."

A man yesterday held up a bank with a capgun, killing a woman cashier. The woman died of fright and laughter-so it has to be banned-it can kill, really.:) :)

Oh and listen to this nonsense,a few years ago at airports-the sale of the Dandy comic, was banned in airport shops, unless the airport-retailers agreed to have the free cap guns or water pistols removed from the magazines-because it was argued that a person could attempt to hijack a plane-whilst flying in mid-air.  No really Im not kidding, its true and Cromlech or any other UK poster, can varify this for me.

Yeah, they have a tendency to do things like that. Inbetween bouts of shooting unarmed civilians (Mistaken for armed criminals) and ignoring real crime.

Corporal punishment banned for all

No more caning in the classroom

The British parliament has overwhelmingly agreed to outlaw caning in all schools.
MPs voted 211 to 15 in favour of an amendment to the School Standards and Framework Bill that bans all corporal punishment and brings independent schools into line with the state sector and the rest of Europe.

Introducing the change, Liberal Democrat education spokesman Don Foster said: "It is my clear view that corporal punishment is something that is wrong in principle - it is barbaric and it is inhuman.

"It is also something that is wrong in practice."

Until now, Britain was unique in Europe because it retained corporal punishment in some schools.

Corporal punishment was outlawed in state schools in 1986, but remained legal in independent schools.

Mr Foster's plea to MPs to support his amendment during the school standards Bill's detailed report stage was greeted with loud cheers from Labour MPs but shouts of disapproval from the few Tories on the Opposition benches.

He insisted he saw no reason to keep caning legal in schools.

"There is no evidence whatsoever that the use of corporal punishment is an effective deterrent, either for a child who may have been misbehaving nor indeed is it a deterrent for other children."

BBC correspondents say so few private schools still use physical punishment that the impact of the ban will be mostly symbolic.

Not exactly related to the issues of weapons control-directly,but we can see that there is now an unhealthy level of disrespect for authority in schools nowdays-because of stupid liberal policies, similar to the policies in the above section.Because of the abolishment of most types of physical punishments in schools across the UK,it has only made the problem worse than it actually is-by allowing kids who are violent and who carry weapons like knives and sometimes guns, leaniant punishments.

10 or more years ago,if you threatened a teacher with a weapon or your fists, they could punch you in the face or use other counter-attackig methods to stop you.The teacher wouldn't have got into trouble, because the pupil had threatened them with extreme violence.I saw a teacher -at my old high-school-punch a kid in the chin, threw the small-classroom bin at him and finally headbutted him-because the kid threatened to kill the teacher with a knife-and actually attacked the teacher.

That teacher, was my English teacher and a former SAS soilder, from the Borneo and Oman campaigns of the 60s and 70s.The man started his career as a national serviceman,in the 50s and was hard as nails-and put the fear of god into any unruly persons.I found out about this unofficially-via my Business Studies teacher.

The teacher didn't get into trouble because of it and the boy was expelled.Thesedays the teacher would be fired -almost on the spot-for the most minor things.

The same could be said about our certain-types of firearm bans, because these have done nothing to address the problem at hand-violent crime, and all the liberals do is talk negatively about them-as though they are evil objects:rolleyes:

At one time a kid could have got seriously hurt by a teacher,if they happend to threaten the teacher with their fists-let alone a weapon-especially in the 20s,30 and 40s and no suprisingly-in the Victorian era-as well.

No wonder there is so many ASBOS ( Anti-Social Behaviour Orders.)in this country and a knife and replica weapon problem here.In the 1980s,replica guns and all types of knives were available-and there were few cases of serious misuse, amongst ordinary youths-unless im greatly mistaken.

Both my mother and father are Labour supporters and they have always approved of Corporal punishment and would have doled it out to me,if I ever committed any forms of serious crime, both inside of and outside of school or College.A truely strange combination.Even in the forces, you are likely to get smacked up and kicked around,if you are badly behaved, or if you are thuggish, despite the liberals protests against it.Believe me this kind of punishment, does work wonders for some unruly individuals and the results are obvious.

Fists=Offensive Weapons

The campaign is designed to take knives and offensive weapons out of circulation and make communities safer.

Notice the phrase "offensive weapons." If I walk up and punch someone then aren't my fists, by definition, offensive weapons? Does this mean that every Brit (especially the soccor fans) needs to go turn in their fists? :D

Jobless man dreamt of being a famous serial killer
By Philippe Naughton

A 25-year-old loner set out on a campaign of murder stretching from the South Coast to London in an attempt to become a serial killer, the Old Bailey heard today.

Daniel Gonzalez killed four people, chosen at random, in three days. After his arrest he allegedly told police that he had wanted to commit at least ten murders to guarantee his notoriety.

Mr Gonzalez, 25, from Woking, Surrey, denies four charges of murdering two women and two men. The court heard that he killed Marie Harding on September 15, 2004, and Jean and Derek Robinson and Kevin Molloy two days later on September 17.

Richard Horwell, prosecuting, told the jury that it was accepted by the defence that Mr Gonzalez was the killer on each occasion.

The prosecution has refused to accept a plea of manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility. He has claimed that he was acting under the control of voices telling him to kill.

Mr Horwell said: "The details not only change from claim to claim but Gonzalez has in the past accepted that he has deliberately fabricated symptoms of a mental illness in order to avoid being sent to prison. We suggest the defendant is both untruthful and manipulative."

Mr Gonzalez was 24 and living with his mother at the time of the murders. "He was unemployed and has achieved very little in his life. The evidence suggests he had become bored and frustrated with his existence," said Mr Horwell.

"He said he had spent a lot of his time playing computer games and added that he could not cope with growing up to be a man. He was very much, on the evidence, a loner," Mr Horwell said.

On Tuesday September 14 he spent the day in bed, the court heard. The following day he was to commit his first attack.

"He was still in bed after his mother had left for work but left home later that morning intending to kill his first victim. He took a steak knife from the kitchen drawer and he must have decided to pursue his terrible campaign far away from home," Mr Horwell said.

He boarded a train for Portsmouth, alighting at Hilsea at 11.12am. About 20 minutes later, he attacked his first victim."

Mr Horwell said that Mr Gonzalez found an isolated area not far from the station where Peter King, 61, and his wife were walking their dog. "The defendant approached them head-on and attempted to conceal the knife, which he held against his leg. As they closed on each other, he lunged at Mr King. After a struggle, Mr King pushed the defendant away with his foot.

"Gonzalez lost his grip on the knife which he dropped. He stood up and said in a calm voice: ’Sorry, I am a schizophrenic, I can’t help it’. He ran away at some speed," Mr Horwell said.

"It was Mr King’s courage and strength which not only saved his life but that of his wife, who would undoubtedly have been the next victim if Mr King had succumbed. When later interviewed, the defendant blamed the small size of the knife for his lack of success. It was not a mistake he would repeat."

See how stupid the ban really is, Gonzalez stole a kitchen knife from the drawer and he stole a pack of knives from an Oxford Street store as well.

Now the Germans have pointy objects too. They need one of these programs immediately.
Strange enough, we had two big ones in the last few years.
One was Erfurt, where a student shot some folks in his school, much like Littleton, just on his own. He use a Glock 17 (a few magazines full), and carried a Mossberg 590, which he didn't use.
One was now in Berlin, where a guy stabbed around 30 people before getting stopped.
After Erfurt, there was a BIG debate about gun laws, and now we have harscher ones. Now after Berlin, averybody says such incidents can happen, and there is no way to stop them. No mention about knives, as having a knife is considered normal over here, and nobody really discusses that.
That is how one society sees it this way, another that way. In Germany, carrying a knife is legal, and we have no concealed or not concept as the US has. Having a gun is another story, and will get you straight to jail.

rudolf, if those had Happened in the UK, they would hav Banned "Living" within a week to a month after...:scrutiny: :barf:

Profile: Copeland the killer

Horror: Copeland's bedroom wall was covered in violent images

David Copeland wanted his bombing campaign to ignite a race war across Britain.
But while he was fueled by right-wing extremism and has even been photographed with one of the most senior figures in its political movement, he acted alone.

Copeland's bombs killed three people and maimed many more

The 24-year-old's first two bombs were aimed at the black community in Brixton, south London, and the Asian community in Brick Lane, east London. The final one was planted at the busy Admiral Duncan pub in Soho, central London, where the clientele was predominantly gay.

Copeland was brought up in Yately in Hampshire; his father an engineer and mother a part-time helper in a centre for the handicapped.

'Mr Angry'

Stephen Copeland: "He was easily influenced"

At school he was small for his age and is said to have resented it, gaining the nickname "Mr Angry". He left secondary school with a few low-grade GCSE's and began drinking and taking drugs, including heroin. This was followed by convictions for assault.

Copeland never had a girlfriend and it was his great fear that people thought him gay. By 1997 when he moved to London to work on the Jubilee line extension as an engineer's assistant, he had become homophobic and racist.

He joined the extremist BNP and became an activist. In 1997 he was photographed standing next to the party's founder John Tyndall.

His father, Stephen Copeland, believes others led his son astray.

"I just believe he was easily influenced by people who saw they could indoctrinate him with their views. I just don't believe he went looking for it himself," he says.

Swastikas and rightwing literature was found in his flat

While in the BNP David Copeland found information on the internet on how to make bombs from fireworks. He also read racist and anti-Semitic literature from extreme right wing Christian groups in America.

He moved back to Hampshire at the end of 1998 and joined a small Nazi organisation, the National Socialist Movement.

He became its regional unit's leader just a few weeks before his bombing campaign.

Caught on CCTV

Blurry CCTV pictures from Brixton helped to lead to Copeland's arrest

Copeland was caught largely because he had wandered around Brixton for more than an hour before planting his first bomb.

It is an area heavily covered by CCTV and after trawling through thousands of hours of tape, police singled him out, enhanced the pictures and released them in a public appeal.

The crucial tip-off to police came from Copeland's workmate, Paul Mifsud.

"I saw the paper and the bag and something hit me. I saw the picture again, I picked it up and looked at it and something hit me, I though 'that looks like David," he said.

Shrine to atrocities

Copeland collected pictures of his bombings

The name David Copeland did not appear on any MI5 or police special branch database and when unarmed police finally went to his room in Farnborough, they were astonished to find a Nazi shrine.

The walls were decorated with swastika flags and photos of atrocities and bombings from around the world, including some from his own bombings at Brixton and Brick Lane, what he called his "handiwork".

There were also explosives and weaponry, a crossbow at the ready, hunting knives and a lethal gas-powered pistol.

Asked by police the next day why he attacked blacks and Asians he replied: "Because I don't like them, I want them out of this country, I'm a national socialist, Nazi, whatever you want to call me, I believe in the master race."

Conspiracy theorist

Despite his right-wing connections, Copeland said he acted alone in his bombing campaign.

The shop in Farnborough where Copeland bought explosives for the Brick Lane bombing

He craved fame and notoriety, but in his confession to police he made it clear that his aim was political.

"My main intent was to spread fear, resentment and hatred throughout this country, it was to cause a racial war," he told detectives.

"There'd be a backlash from the ethnic minorities, I'd just be the spark that would set fire to this country."

While on remand in prison and at Broadmoor special hospital, Copeland wrote to BBC correspondent Graeme McLagan. He denied that he was schizophrenic.

He also revealed his racist obsessions - writing that what he called "Zog", the Zionist Occupation Government, was trying to sweep him under the carpet by pumping him full of drugs.

"The Jew, devil's disciples and peoples of mud must be driven out of our land," he wrote.

"It is God's law and we must obey.

"I bomb the blacks, 'pakkies', degenerates.

"I would have bombed the Jews as well if I'd got a chance."

The courts have ensured that he never will.

It is intersting that the BBC had said that the gun Copeland had in his bedroom, was "a lethal gas-powered pistol"-which turned out to be a Umarex licensed replica of a Colt 1911A1Competition model .177 calibre,gas-powered air-gun.

What a bunch of idiots, please "Lethal gas-powered pistol",a real 1911A1 .45 ACP YES,but not the airgun version. An air pistol can cause some serious injuries, but it is not that lethal,so because of this a person can buy one in the UK-without a license.

As for that piece of sh*t,he should be either shot or killed, for blowing up a pub full of innocent people-or better still hung by his neck.

Copeland wasn't the only whacko to have wanted to start a race war, another guy called David Tovey, nearly shot several Muslims dead with a Sten submachine-gun,four years ago-but he was caught by the cops-just in time. So much for the SLR ban.

The "Western Democracies" have become so wimpy we are heavily populated by sheep afraid of a sharp stick......:cuss: How have the spineless gotten in power to dictate to the rest of us??!!

Rome fell because it became decadant and weak....We have got to turn this age of the "Sensitive Sissy Girly Man" around before it is too late. :fire:

You know, I was in a Kensington hotel room with my new bride when this story broke. We watched it on BBC News. The most ironic thing about it was that it happened the same weekend as the Columbine Massacre, and five minutes before the Brixton thing was reported, the news poeple were smugly patting each other on the back and pontificating about how things like Columbine "just didn't happen over here." I didn't know whether to laugh or scream.
