So I ordered myself a Father's Day present this morning.
It is the latest Colt Walker book "The Colt Walker Army Revolver" by Charles W. Pate

You can order it from the publisher here if you are interested -

I found a book review on YouTube that gives you a pretty good idea what you will be getting if you snag one, or what you will be missing if you dont.

I'm expecting this to be one of those books I would kicking myself for not having once it's out of print so I bit the bullet an ordered one.
Just an idea for any Fathers out there that may be asked "What do you want for Father's Day?" at $35.99 it should fit most folks budgets, and might be appreciated even more than a new pair of socks.

i dont like how he said that Sam Colt lied and said his guns were better then they were. They were the best hands down. I do want one of those books. I have the repro of that gun. Thanks so much for the heads up.

Charles Pate does good work. I have his book on US Handguns of WW2 and Broomhandle Mauser.

He’s got one on Smith and Wesson 44 Americans I’d like to have. It has a list of all the documented survivors of the first 1,000 made for the military, of which one I own that was my GGG Grandpas (not known to Charles at the time when he wrote the book).
