Sounded good but drew a big yawn when I saw one in person.

Read about this pistol and got excited about it too, until I saw the price. For what I need in a pistol, it can't do anything most won't do that are priced under $1000. I wish them well, it is a unique and interesting design. I myself don't see a market for it, but then again, I don't see the lure of a Korth at 6x the price of a S&W. I know, blasphemy. Maybe I'm just a cheapskate.

I’m still patiently waiting. Lancer has been sending updates every couple months. I’m still hoping I’ll have it this year.

They sold the 500 imports quickly at $5000 each and will sell many more if they decide to bring them to the States. It’s never going to be big production. It’s a very high quality, basically hand fit pistol made in small numbers.

As the only of several Korth’s, I see the lure of those also.

I don’t think so Jim. This one should be as advertised.

Incidentally, check out a Salient Tier 1 version of the Strike One sometime. It’s incredible. Shoots like a dream.

I already have a gas piston operated fixed barrel pistol with a non-reciprocating top rail... I don't see a need for another one.

That’s a good thing, because you can’t get one anyway. They’re all spoken for.

There was a rumor early on that the Laugo people were looking for a large manufacturer to license the design for series production. That they were the designers of one of the PCCs that had gone that way, maybe the Sig.

Salient is plugged into the whole Archon project. Not that I can imagine anything happening to it.

The gun is rock solid.
